This Senior Underwriter position focuses on managing and developing a Skilled Liability portfolio. You will assess Miscellaneous, Construction, and Manufacturing Errors and Omissions accounts while pursuing renewal and new business opportunities. The role combines customer-focused service, market interaction, and detailed opportunity assessment for strategic portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop a profitable Skilled Liability portfolio
Assess Errors and Omissions account opportunities
Conduct prepared broker and customer visits
Deliver marketing presentations to brokers




Identify growth opportunities with key distributors

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent with qualifying experience
Three or more years in underwriting or market-facing work
Knowledge of Financial Lines legal and regulatory guidelines
Microsoft Office experience
Bachelor’s Degree and commercial Professional Liability experience preferred

Use portfolio management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to support Zurich Canada’s Qualified Liability business.
