Support industrial boiler and burner customers through burner controls configuration, calibration, and troubleshooting as a Combustion Services Technician. Travel and on-call coverage are required.
This technician works with Burner Management Systems and controls, including Honeywell 7800, Fireye Nexus, and Siemens LMV. Responsibilities also include measurement devices, process control, PLCs, DCSs, single loop controllers, technical documentation, and combustion curve recommendations. Customer service remains essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and troubleshoot burner management systems and controls
Calibrate components, systems, and measurement devices
Make combustion curve changes using gas analyzer data
Maintain relationships with customer engineering and maintenance personnel
Promote services capability and a team approach
Requirements:
G1 Gas certification; OBT 1, 2, or 3 is an asset
Minimum three years of prior experience
Knowledge of flow, pressure, temperature, level, and analytical devices
Understanding of electronics and basic electrical requirements
PLC, DCS, and controller programming exposure is an asset
Bring burner controls, instrumentation, analyzer data, and troubleshooting knowledge to industrial boiler and burner customers.
