Build production AI features as a Senior AI Software Engineer at Protected Fleet, using LLMs, machine learning, and backend APIs. Help make fleet vehicles safer through scalable technology. This hands-on senior engineering role delivers AI-powered capabilities across Protected Fleet’s product portfolio. You will apply generative AI, deep learning, computer vision, and workflow orchestration to product challenges. The position also uses AI-Native Engineering, coding agents, Spec-Driven Development, and automation to support quality and secure delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Design and deploy scalable, secure AI features Build backend services and APIs for AI capabilities Apply LLMs, RAG, agents, and machine learning Implement AI evaluation, monitoring,
and optimization Collaborate on architecture, reviews, and technical decisions Requirements:
Six or more years of software engineering experience Production experience developing and deploying AI applications Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, and AI agents Backend, API, and cloud development experience Experience with AI coding agents and Spec-Driven Development Bring senior software engineering, AI delivery, and system design expertise to Protected Fleet’s fleet safety products.
