This Collections Officer I position handles consumer debt, real estate loans, home equity lines, returned checks, and overlimit accounts. Key Responsibilities:
Perform collection activities across diverse delinquent member accounts
Apply skip tracing, extensions, consolidations, and repossessions
Explain possible legal actions and recommend financial counseling

Complete required back-office collections tasks

Requirements:
High school graduate or similar equivalent
Knowledge of collection procedures, laws, and regulations
Familiarity with bankruptcy basics and Small Claims Court
Understanding of default and enforcement clauses
Ability to calm difficult situations professionally
