As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will assist the Pharmacist with technical prescription filling and administrative duties. You will receive prescriptions, assess completeness, process patient information, and prepare medications. Key Responsibilities:
Receive prescriptions and assess required patient and prescriber information
Enter data, process refills, and generate pharmacy reports
Select, count, measure, label, and organize prescription products
Maintain inventory, remove expired medications,
and process orders
File records, clean equipment, and support OTC operations
Requirements:
Minimum age of 16 years or older
Ability to follow provincial legal and regulatory conditions
Ability to interpret written prescriptions and Latin abbreviations
Ability to perform dosage calculations and accuracy checks
Ability to work under Pharmacist supervision during filling
