As an Electrical Apprentice, you will service electrical systems while supporting lasting customer relationships. Duties include installing fixtures, switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, and communications connections. You will also complete preventive maintenance and records.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and replace lighting fixtures and electrical equipment
Splice, join, and connect wires to components
Connect power to communications and signaling equipment
Support heating and cooling system electrical connections
Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain records
Requirements:
Registered apprenticeship program participation
Secondary school completion
Comfort using hand and power tools
Ability to work on ladders and aerial platforms
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
Use electrical installation skills, tool knowledge, and customer communication to support dependable service across residential and commercial settings.
