This full time Manufacturing Mechanic position is internally called a Loom Mechanic. MW Canada provides hands-on training in loom operation, setup, maintenance, and repair. You will work with gears, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical controls as experience develops.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and adjust industrial weaving equipment
Support production through setups and changeovers
Read work orders, manuals, and maintenance instructions
Work with experienced mechanics and machine operators
Communicate concerns and document maintenance activities
Requirements:
Valuable problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Willingness to learn through company-provided training
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
