As Shop Head - Electrical, you will work under the Property Management Manager’s general supervision. The position covers electrical maintenance, installation assistance, staff monitoring, selection support, and reporting. Solid communication, leadership, mathematical, and interpersonal skills support the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Electrical Shop operations at St. Boniface Hospital
Maintain hospital electrical equipment, systems, and services
Assist electrical equipment installation, modification, and additions
Assist with selecting and monitoring staff
Prepare reports and perform related duties
Requirements:
Five years’ certified-level experience in the acquired trade
Two to five years’ experience as a Shop Head
Grade XII education
Manitoba Journeyman Electrician Certificate of Proficiency
Class A or B Winnipeg electrical contractor license
Bring supervisory leadership, electrical maintenance expertise, and licensed journeyman qualifications to the Electrical Shop at St. Boniface Hospital.
