Omega Tool Corp manufactures plastics tooling for global OEM and Tier 1 clients. The Set Up Technician performs machine setup, adjustment, and maintenance. This full time role follows Monday-to-Friday scheduling, with Saturdays as needed and days-afternoons rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform initial setup of tools and components on machines
Load and unload materials from pallets, trucks, and lifting devices
Empty metal chip bins at machine workstations
Maintain housekeeping across work areas and shop floor
Participate in continuous improvement tasks and projects
Requirements:
Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving capability
Knowledge of arithmetic, geometry, and applications
Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
Ability to determine correct tools and equipment
Ability to lift materials weighing up to 35 pounds
