Chartwell seeks a Prep Cook for meal preparation in a volume food setting, ideally retirement, long-term care, or hospitality. You will prepare ingredients, cook dietary meals, receive supplies, and maintain clean work areas. Transparent communication and customer service support the kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients including meats, vegetables, and salads
Cook meals that meet residents’ dietary needs
Receive and store food and kitchen supplies
Maintain dishes, surfaces, and kitchen organization
Follow food safety and health practices

Requirements:
One to two years’ experience in volume food preparation
Retirement, long-term care, or hospitality experience preferred
High school graduate or equivalent education
Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and carry
Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
