Support resident comfort as a part time Health Care Aide at AgeCare Jasper Place in Edmonton, using secure transfers and thorough basic care.

Working under a Staff Nurse, you will collaborate with the care team to meet individual resident needs. The position includes personal care, feeding assistance, routine treatments, mobility support, and accompanying residents to activities. Your work follows care plans, NCP guidance, water temperature procedures, engineering controls, and Personal Protective Equipment controls.

Key Responsibilities:
Bath, shower, and wash residents following NCP procedures
Assist resident transfers using ceiling or mechanical lifts
Feed residents according to their care plans




Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
Accompany residents to dining, therapy, and recreation activities

Requirements:
Recognized PCA or HCA 2002 certificate or equivalent education
Active CLHA registration
Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
One year continuing care experience preferred
Post-secondary education is an asset
