Algoma Tubes Inc. is seeking a licensed Millwright or equivalent mechanical maintenance skilled. This future chance focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, and protected operation of machinery across finishing and hot rolling areas. Equipment includes pumps, valves, hydraulic cylinders, rotary actuators, conveyors, gearboxes, and lubrication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Adjust machinery and replace defective components
Operate hoisting and lifting devices during repairs
Clean, lubricate, and perform routine machinery maintenance
Assemble equipment using hand, power, and welding tools
Requirements:
Licensed Millwright or equivalent education and industrial experience
Knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices
Technical drawing and blueprint interpretation skills
Alignment and calibration tool proficiency
Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
Apply hydraulic, mechanical, and troubleshooting knowledge while maintaining production equipment safely across Algoma Tubes Inc. mill operations.
