This Labourer (Layout Person) supports production by translating drawings into measurements and producing quality parts. The work includes operating band saws, ironworkers, radial drills, grinders, and overhead cranes. Preventative maintenance and secure machine setup are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow all workplace safety procedures
Operate band saws, ironworkers, radial drills, grinders, and overhead cranes
Set up machines properly for production
Translate drawings into production measurements
Produce quality parts and mark out holes
Requirements:
Ability to read a metric tape measure

Steel fabrication experience is an asset
