On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Senior for an 11 month contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Business Analyst - Senior - Job Description:
The role involves providing a comprehensive range of I⁢ business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs. The Business Analyst will interact with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand and document business requirements. The project encompasses both current platform upgrades and new development initiatives.

Business Analyst - Senior - Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive I⁢ business analysis services
- Interact with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
- Advise on business analysis policies, processes, and best practices
- Lead business analysis to assess business problems and document requirements
- Apply re-engineering concepts for business improvements
- Develop strategies, business cases, and conduct feasibility studies
- Conduct business modeling and data flow modeling
- Monitor progress and resolve problems

Business Analyst - Senior - Mandatory Skills:





- 10+ years of experience in a business analyst capacity
- Experience in requirements gathering and documentation
- Experience with business strategy development and process re-engineering
- Experience in business case development and cost-benefit analysis
- Proficiency in GUI and user interface design
- Experience with JAD, UML, and CASE tools
- Solid problem-solving and communication skills

Business Analyst - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with information retrieval packages
- Knowledge of Information Management principles
- Experience in business functional modeling and process mapping
- Familiarity with structured, object-oriented, and agile methodologies
- Understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)

This is an 11 month contract position.
