Overview

The Home Improvement Sales Associate helps customers explore products and solutions for renovation and construction projects. Through attentive service, product demonstrations, and practical recommendations, you support informed purchases and a welcoming shopping experience.

Duties

- Assist customers in person, using explicit communication and customer service to understand project needs and recommend suitable products.
- Demonstrate products, explain features, and use negotiation, upselling, and sales skills to support customer decisions.
- Maintain merchandising displays, process transactions through POS systems, handle cash, and complete basic math accurately.
- Organize customer follow-up and account details, and contribute to marketing and coordination with colleagues. Your impact:

Skills

Required: Clear communication, customer service, organizational skills, basic math, and confidence using POS systems and handling cash support accurate transactions and helpful product guidance. Preferred: Outside or inside sales, retail sales, cashiering, account management, product demos, negotiation, upselling, merchandising, marketing, English or multilingual communication, high-end sales, renovation or construction experience.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
