Chef -cook - Full time (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities:

- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks using approved CEFA menus.
- Make appropriate menu substitutions or refinements when required.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with all health and food-safety requirements.
- Manage dietary needs,



allergies, and approved meal adjustments in coordination with staff.
- Order ingredients and supplies from approved vendors.
- Serve meals to classrooms and support teachers during scheduled break periods.
- Clean and maintain dishes, equipment, food-preparation areas, and storage spaces.

Qualifications:

- Minimum one year of experience in preschools, restaurants, or commercial kitchens
- Food Handler Certification
- ECE Level 1 Certification
- Culinary arts diploma / degree
- Bachelor’s degree is an asset
- First Aid Certification
- Clear criminal records check
- English proficiency
