Lead secure Primary Utilities operations at Stelco’s Lake Erie Works using technical problem-solving and industrial maintenance knowledge. This is a full time permanent position in Nanticoke.The Shift Manager, also identified as Shift Engineer, reports to the Area Manager-Operations. You will maintain facilities, equipment, and personnel safely while coordinating technicians, apprentices, co-ops, project planners, service groups, contractors, and bargaining unit personnel. The position supports operating efficiency and minimum interruption.Key Responsibilities:
Administer the company safety program within operating facilitiesPromote safety through contacts, tours, investigations,



and follow-upSupervise technicians maintaining various mill equipmentDevelop preventive maintenance programs using equipment historyComplete scheduling, employee payments, reports, and safety conversationsRequirements:
TSSA 2nd Class Power Engineer CertificateTwo-plus years supervising in heavy industrial or unionized environmentsElectrical or mechanical maintenance knowledgeStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in MS Office and valid driver’s licenseBring leadership, maintenance expertise, and safety focus to Stelco’s Primary Utilities operations at Lake Erie Works.
