Role Description The Lead Cabinet Installer is a full time, on-site role based in Dartmouth, NS, responsible for overseeing and completing cabinet installations in homes and commercial spaces. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting plans and drawings, measuring and preparing installation areas, assembling and installing cabinets, hardware, and trim, and ensuring that all work meets quality and safety standards. The person in this role will lead and mentor installation team members, coordinate with project managers and clients, and help resolve in office issues such as fit, alignment, and adjustments.



Additional responsibilities may include maintaining tools and equipment, verifying materials delivered to site, and documenting work completed to support project timelines and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
Strong cabinet installation and finish carpentry skills, including measuring, cutting, assembling, and adjusting cabinetry and related components.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, floor plans, and installation specifications.
Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring installation teams, with solid organizational and time-management abilities.
Commitment to protected work practices, including proper use of hand and power tools and adherence to workplace safety regulations.
Effective communication skills for working with team members, contractors, and clients, and for resolving on-site issues professionally.
Valid driver’s license is essential.
Previous experience as a cabinet installer, carpenter, or trades professional in construction or millwork; apprenticeship or trade certification is an asset.
Physical ability to lift and move cabinetry and materials, work on ladders, and stand for extended periods while performing installation tasks.
