You will select equipment, prepare specifications, plans, and estimates, and participate in system testing. Design automated systems and control panel solutionsSelect controls, instrumentation, and motor control equipmentPrepare project specifications, plans, and estimatesParticipate in automated system testing and commissioningFollow up with equipment suppliers and clientsRequirements:
Degree in automated production, electrical engineering, or equivalentFive to six years’ experience in industrial automationKnowledge of Allen Bradley, Rockwell, and Siemens productsProgramming experience with PLCs and user interfacesProfessional registration through EGBC or APEGAApply controls engineering knowledge, equipment selection, PLC programming, and commissioning experience to LAPORTE’s industrial projects.
