My client are looking for a Senior Linux Engineer to join their team.
You will work on cutting edge, low latency, highly optimised Linux Compute environments which serve as the backbone of Trading Infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Managing large scale Linux environments
Platform standardisation, automation, testing and monitoring
Adhering to best practices for source control, testing, CI/CD and configuration management
Working with petabyte scale storage systems
Automating the estate wherever possible
Core skills required:
Extensive experience working in Linux settings
Configuration Management – Ansible / Chef
Storage – NGS / GPFS / WEKA etc.
Python
Observability – ELK / Prometheus / Grafana / VictoriaMetrics etc.
Cloud experience helpful – AWS / GCP
