Location: Kanata Heritage Child Care Centre – Kanata, Ottawa
Position: Full-Time, Temporary (Maternity Leave Coverage)

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team for a maternity leave replacement beginning in early November 2026.

Your Role

As an RECE, you will:

- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, inclusive,



and stimulating classroom environment.
- Observe children's interests and development to guide meaningful programming.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators to maintain high standards of care.
- Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a genuine commitment to early childhood education.

Qualifications

- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Minimum two years of experience in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of Ontario's early learning frameworks, including How Does Learning Happen? and ELECT.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- A dependable, compassionate, and professional approach to working with children.
