As a Hairstylist, you’ll provide attentive, personalized service while helping clients choose styles that suit their preferences. You’ll create a welcoming experience from arrival through checkout, communicate clearly about styling options, and keep your work area clean and organized. This role combines hands-on hair styling with customer service, retail sales, and front desk support.
Duties
- Consult with clients, listen to their preferences, and recommend suitable hair styling services.
- Perform styling services with care, maintain sanitation practices, and keep tools and work areas clean.
- Support front desk tasks, including welcoming clients, coordinating appointments, and assisting with checkout.
- Recommend relevant products and services through helpful retail sales and upselling conversations.
- Your impact: Clear communication and consistent service help clients feel welcome and confident in their choices.
Experience
Required: Practical hair styling, sanitation, customer service, and communication skills support secure, attentive appointments and a positive client experience. Preferred: Related hairstyling or salon experience, along with familiarity with retail sales, upselling, and front desk tasks, can help you contribute smoothly across the client visit.
Pay: $17.60-$44.18 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
