Overview

We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team for maternity leave coverage (January 2027 - May 2028). TUES & FRI 9-5 pm, WED & THURS 11-7 pm, SAT 9-3 pm
The candidate should possess a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices. The position emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and delivering high-quality dental services.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Taking digital radiographs as needed.
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants and front desk staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and follow-up care.




- Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments in compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with regulations.
- Prior experience working in a dental office.
- Bilingual abilities are considered an asset for serving diverse patient populations effectively.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care and patient records management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service in a professional manner.
- A comprehensive understanding of dental office operations is essential.

Pay: $50.00-$58.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 – 40.0 per week
