Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Commercial Snow Operators with strong skills in operating loaders and skid steers. A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required; A class 3 would be an asset. Operators will be responsible for snow removal, hauling, and site safety during and after snow events.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate loaders, skid steers, and other snow equipment for snow clearing and relocation
- Drive and operate trucks requiring a Class 3 license
- Apply salt/sand as needed to maintain site safety
- Perform pre- and post-operation equipment checks
- Work on-call, including nights,
weekends, and holidays during snow events
- Follow site maps, company procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating loaders/skid steers in commercial settings
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 with air brakes an asset)
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to work flexible hours in all winter weather conditions
- Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
