Send photos of 3 showers you’ve tiled, including at least one during waterproofing (before tile). Applications without photos won’t be reviewed.

Your first project: two full bathroom renovations. Our crew handles demo, framing, drywall, and paint. You own the shower and tile work from start to finish, and the final look is yours. After this project there’s steady work on bathrooms, basements, and secondary suites across the GTA.

Ridgesafe Renovations is a residential renovation company. We’re looking for a full-time tile setter with a sharp eye for detail who takes pride in clean, accurate finishing.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Installing backer board and shower waterproofing systems (Schluter Kerdi, Wedi, Laticrete Hydro Ban or equivalent), including flood testing
- Building shower pans with proper slope to drain, including linear drains and curbless showers
- Setting large-format porcelain on floors and walls with tight, lippage-free layouts
- Niches, mitred edges, Schluter trims, and clean transitions
- Grouting, sealing, and silicone at all changes of plane

- Checking that substrate is flat and ready before tiling, and flagging issues early
- Sending daily progress photos and communicating with the project owner
- Keeping a clean, protected job site in occupied homes

What we need from you:

- 5+ years of residential tile experience, with bathrooms and showers as your main focus
- Proven waterproofing experience. You know why it matters and you do it right every time
- A finishing standard you’d be proud to have photographed
- Your own tile tools (wet saw, levelling system, mixer, etc.)
- Reliable vehicle and valid G licence
- Professional with homeowners: on time, tidy, good communicator

What you get:

- Full-time, steady work. You won’t be chasing jobs or sitting through slow weeks
- Our crew does the prep and demo, so you focus on the finish work
- Room to grow into a lead tile or site lead role as we scale

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $37.00-$45.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
