To support a growing clinical team, the full time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess and diagnose patients' mental health conditions, develop and implement treatment plans, and prescribe medications while working remotely.
Key responsibilities Assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and conduct individual psychotherapy Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate treatment plans, including prescribing medications and monitoring patients' responses Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care Required qualifications 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP) Experience in Addiction and Mental Health, with a focus on adults and severe mental illness (SMI) Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse dual-diagnoses Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain timely documentation in EHRs
