New Heights School is an accredited Designated Special Education Independent School serving individuals with an autism diagnosis or a similar learning profile. All our students have an Individualized Program Plan (IPP). Our high school provides all three graduation routes available in Alberta; Diploma, Certificate of Achievement, and Certificate of Completion.

ROLE OVERVIEW

- An active Alberta Teaching Certificate

- Experience working with neurodivergent children and youth

- Strong communication skills

- The ability to be self-directed, flexible, highly motivated and to work effectively in a team environment

- Availability during school hours on school days

QUALIFICATIONS

· Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligible for one (including final year Alberta students and international teachers through the expedited teacher certificate route)

· Bachelor of Education or equivalent





· Experience with neurodivergent students is an asset
