Physiomed Downsview is currently hiring a Registered Psychotherapist to join our team. We are a full service multidisciplinary rehabilitation facility treating individuals who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents and other personal injuries. We are a company who is dedicated to rebuilding the quality of life of our patients. As a psychotherapist you will be providing counselling to clients and reporting to your immediate supervisor and/or psychology department manager.
Qualifications
- Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
- Ability to work in a busy, high-volume, and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and be a team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Motor Vehicle Accident experience an asset but not required.
Responsibilities
- Management of client files, required documentation, scheduling, and client communication.
- Provide an update of clients seen at the end of each day.
- Provide detailed and organized session notes at the end of each day.
- Responsible for creating progress reports requesting additional treatment, when needed.
- Able to be accommodating and versatile with work hours, including evenings and weekends to meet the demand of client schedules.
- Able to conduct counselling virtually
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
