Position Summary

This role oversees the execution and quality control of commercial and residential flooring and tiling projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced industry professional with strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. They will manage multiple crews and projects ranging from $250K to $8M, balancing empathy in subcontractor relations with the ability to drive efficiency, meet timelines, and ensure exceptional results.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to Senior Management, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

· Act as an ambassador, manage and champion client expectations and deliverables onsite.

· Ensure quality of product and process and adjust the implementation plan as required to meet the customer’s needs.

· Routinely monitor key performance indicators identifying opportunities for improvement and making · appropriate supervisory and management personnel aware of the findings.

· Provide onsite training to 3rd part contractors and other company representatives to improve quality of output.

· Monitor workload to evaluate the staffing levels.

· Manage time effectively to ensure effective coverage over a portfolio of projects.

· In conjunction with Project Managers, Develop, monitor, and adjust operations plans to ensure project completion.





· Take instruction from project managers as required on the co-ordination of all operations related matters including (but not limited to) site visits, problem solving, project take-off, project close-out, site walks etc

· Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility to perform job work that may take place in hours outside of standard 9-5 operating hours (flexible time-off will be allowed as agreed with direct management).

· Maintain adequate accounts records and ensure timeous monthly submissions to finance.

· Drive a company vehicle (including company truck and forklift or other) to fulfill tasks as required on an ad hoc basis.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience

· English, robust business written and verbal proficiency

· Efficient skills in Microsoft Office 10, and other standard computer applications

· Multiple decades of flooring or tiling experience as an “on the tools” installer

· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work effectively with clients and all stakeholders for successful bid completion

· Able to prioritize and be flexible, while maintaining efficiency

· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

· Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities

· Highly organized with strong time management skills

· Quick and independent learner, ability to operate with minimal supervision

· Strong work ethic, self-motivated and excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Positive, team player, confident attitude

· Able to maintain a professional demeanor in challenging situations

· Career minded for upward potential in a growing environment

· Valid BC driver’s license with a satisfactory driver abstract

· Clean criminal record related to work eligibility
