Hargrave Street Market located in True North Square-242 Hargrave Street is seeking enthusiastic, service-oriented Food & Beverage Team Members (Servers, Bartenders, and Hosts). In these roles you will play an important part in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

What to be excited for in this role:

- Welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Present menu items, explain specials, and recommend food and beverage pairings.
- Take and process orders accurately, prepare and serve beverages, and deliver food promptly.
- Communicate guest requests, allergies, and dietary restrictions to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with hosting, table service, bartending, food running, and special events as needed.
- Process payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory, and maintain clean, organized dining, bar, and service areas.
- Assist with opening, closing, setup, and cleaning duties.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and excellent guest experience.

What we need from you:

- Previous experience in customer service,



hospitality, food service, or restaurant operations is preferred.
- Bartending and cocktail preparation experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Experience with POS systems an asset.
- Professional and adaptable, with the ability to handle guest concerns and requests courteously.
- Positive attitude, and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experience.
- Valid Manitoba Smart Choices certification required for positions involving alcohol service.
- Versatile availability for evenings, weekends and holidays, and special events.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with restaurant and event service.

Pay: From $16.40 per hour
