Job Title: Senior SAP FI-CO Configuration Analyst Primary Skills: SAP FI-CO Configuration, SAP General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid Experience: 7+ Years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FI-CO Configuration Analyst to join the SAP Finance team.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP system implementation, configuration, enhancements, and production support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, documenting, implementing, configuring, and supporting complex SAP FI-CO applications.

This role requires strong functional expertise across SAP Finance and Controlling modules, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements for SAP FI-CO applications.

Prepare detailed functional specifications for new applications, enhancements, and system modifications.

Analyze business requirements and map business processes to appropriate SAP application modules.

Configure and customize SAP FI-CO modules based on business requirements.

Perform unit, functional, integration, UAT, and performance testing.

Troubleshoot application issues and recommend appropriate system modifications and improvements.

Manage project tasks, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.

Maintain requirements documentation, project tracking, and stakeholder reporting.

Lead or coordinate medium- to large-scale projects.

Provide recommendations regarding project resources and delivery planning.

Train and mentor junior team members and provide functional guidance.

Resolve production support issues and participate in the on-call support rotation.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to deliver SAP solutions.

Support integration with third-party and add-on applications.





Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum 7+ years of hands-on SAP FI-CO Analyst experience.

Strong experience in SAP FI-CO configuration, enhancements, implementation, and break-fix production support.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to lead meetings with business stakeholders and leadership to discuss SAP solutions, project planning, and high-impact issues.

Robust functional knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling processes.

Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Ability to manage project timelines, ROM estimates, milestones, and stakeholder communications.

Strong understanding of SAP integration with third-party and add-on applications.

Mandatory SAP FI-CO Skills General Ledger (GL).

Accounts Payable (AP).

Accounts Receivable (AR).

Controlling Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting.

Profitability Analysis (COPA).

Fixed Asset Accounting (FA).

Tax Accounting, including Withholding Tax.

Integration between SAP FI and MM.

Sets and Hierarchies development and configuration.

Good to Have Skills Special Purpose Ledger (SPL).

Report Painter and Report Writer. CIG integration between SAP Ariba and ECC. SAP Concur integration. ALE, RFC, API, and Web Service integrations.
