To support a variety of environmental and civil engineering design projects, the full time California Licensed AutoCAD Designer will perform computer-aided design and drafting, develop design layouts, and manage drawing sets while working remotely or onsite in San Diego, Costa Mesa, or Los Angeles.
Key responsibilities Draft, edit, and finalize design plans and details while adhering to company drafting standards Analyze sketches and input materials to determine the best approach for completing drawing sets Mentor and supervise CAD technicians in the preparation and review of design drawings and details Required qualifications Associate's degree in Drafting with a minimum of five years of related experience in civil engineering Successful Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D Certified Professional examination within the last three years Experience developing grading plans, cross-sections, and profiles for large civil design projects Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and AutoCAD Map3D, including a strong understanding of Civil 3D annotation styles Ability to read and interpret red line drawings from project team members
