Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services that enhance the health and appearance of pets. The Groomer will be responsible for delivering professional grooming services, ensuring pets are comfortable, safe, and well-cared for throughout the process.

Responsibilities

- Bathing, drying, and brushing pets to maintain cleanliness and coat health
- Trimming, clipping, and styling fur according to breed standards or customer preferences
- Cleaning and sanitizing grooming tools and work areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Monitoring pets during grooming for signs of distress or health issues and reporting concerns to pet owners or management
- Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and recommendations
- Handling pets gently and securely, especially during heavy lifting or when managing larger animals




- Maintaining accurate records of grooming services performed and special instructions from pet owners
- Ensuring a protected environment for both pets and staff by adhering to safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

- Prior experience in pet grooming or related animal care fields is preferred
- Must be able to complete 3-5 dogs per day, start to finish
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as lifting large or heavy pets safely
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to animals’ needs during grooming procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety standards related to animal handling and grooming equipment
