Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring a clean and efficient environment for food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food handling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a dynamic food service setting.

Duties

- Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients
- Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning routines
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to meet health and safety standards
- Help with serving food to customers or guests as needed
- Assist in setting up dining areas and clearing tables during service hours




- Restock supplies and ensure the kitchen remains organized and stocked throughout shifts
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards assisting others
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation are advantageous
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience can be beneficial but is not essential
