4Tracks Ltd. is currently hiring a reliable and responsible individual for the position of Night Security Guard / Yard Shunt Driver at our Winnipeg terminal.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining yard security during night hours and assisting with the movement and positioning of trucks and trailers within the yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain security throughout the yard during night shifts.
- Conduct regular yard patrols to ensure the safety and security of company equipment and property.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing trucks, trailers, and visitors.
- Perform yard shunting duties, including moving and positioning trailers as required.
- Ensure trailers are parked safely in designated areas.
- Report suspicious activities, safety concerns, or equipment damage to management.
- Maintain accurate records of yard activities and security incidents.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in yard shunting or truck driving is preferred.
- Valid Class 1 driver's licence is preferred.
- Previous security experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Solid attention to detail and a responsible attitude.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
