Status: Part-Time Term Appointment Monday – Friday. FTE 0.5. = 4 hours per day (inclusive of 45 mins/day preparation time & 15 min break) Strong Start hours 8:30 -11:30 am.
The starting wage for this position is $31.62/hr.

The Strong Start Program Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of the Robust Start Program at JS Clark Elementary School.
Qualifications: Must be ECE infant/toddler registered with or able to register with BCECE registry.A valid Child Safe First Aid Certificate
Experience in creating, planning, implementing and budgeting for a parent participation early learning program.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Good organizational and planning skills.
An understanding of,
and a commitment to, quality early learning.
Ability to work effectively with a variety of parents, children, volunteers, professionals and community members.
Knowledge of child development, family dynamics, community resources and early learning.A class 5 Driver's License and access to personal vehicle.
