To support a growing oncology practice, the full time Florida Licensed Triage Nurse will provide individualized care and clinical guidance to patients and families, triaging patient calls, managing symptom relief, and facilitating communication within the multidisciplinary care team in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities Triaging oncology patient calls regarding treatment, surgery, and appointment information while monitoring and managing patient symptoms Providing ongoing education, resources, and referrals to patients and caregivers to optimize care and outcomes Collaborating with the healthcare team to assess and address barriers to care, ensuring effective communication and continuity of treatment Required qualifications Registered Nurse multistate or Florida single state licensure required Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing, Bachelor's Degree preferred Two years or more of experience as an RN, with at least one year of oncology experience required Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
