Founding Helper, Family Household Support (Part-Time, Flexible Hours)

Location: Family homes in East Gwillimbury, Newmarket, Aurora, Georgina, Whitchurch-Stouffville and Uxbridge
Pay: $20–$23/hour (reviewed regularly)

About Parentive
Parentive is a current local service that helps busy families with the everyday tasks that pile up at home. We’re starting with a small pilot, and we’re looking for our first group of Helpers to shape what we become.

What you’ll do
You’ll bring practical, caring support into family homes with a keen attention to detail. That includes laundry, folding and putting clothes away, household resets, kitchen tasks and meal prep, and organizing family spaces. Some Helpers who are a good fit may also spend time with children while a parent is home.

As a Founding Helper, your ideas matter. You’ll help shape our service standards, team culture and how we interact with the families we support.

- Have experience with household tasks,



whether from paid work or from running your own home (formal experience isn’t required)

What you need

- 18 or older and legally eligible to work in Canada
- A valid driver’s licence, your own vehicle and adequate insurance to travel between client homes (you won’t be using your vehicle for any work-related duties)
- Willingness to provide references and complete a criminal record check after a conditional offer
- CPR and First Aid is a bonus

Good to know
Hours aren’t guaranteed during the pilot and will grow with demand. We’d love to hear from people with 6+ hours of availability a week. Full onboarding is provided, covering service quality, privacy, household boundaries, food and allergy safety, and working with children.
