About Us
First Dental Studio is a family owned dental lab in Edmonton with thirty years of trusted work behind us. We’re growing, and we’re building a team that holds high standards and wants to help shape what comes next.
The Role
We’re looking for a Digital Designer to join our quick paced lab. You’ll design dental restorations on the computer and work closely with our technicians to deliver quality cases on time. This isn’t a role for someone who wants to coast. We want a person who looks for ways to make things better, faster and smarter every day.
What You’ll Do
- Design dental cases digitally in 3Shape with accuracy and attention to detail
- Keep cases moving through the lab with strong productivity and quality
- Work with our team to improve our processes and workflow
- Bring forward creative ideas that help the lab grow
- Take ownership of your work and hold yourself to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in digital design, OR strong, proven skill and comfort working on a computer
- Well versed in 3Shape, and willing to learn other design software as we grow
- A self starter who wants to move the needle, not do the bare minimum
- Someone who thrives in a fast paced, growth focused environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
What We Offer
- Starting wage of $20 per hour, growing up to $30 per hour
- Rewards for productivity, creative ideas and helping the lab move forward
- Real opportunity to grow with a lab that is expanding
- A team that wants the best out of its people and backs them up
Hiring Timeline
We plan to hire within the next 2 to 4 weeks, so don’t wait.
