Overview

Carpenters build, install, repair, and restore wood and other structural components across varied construction projects. The role combines careful plan interpretation, skilled tool use, and hands-on work to deliver durable, well-finished results.

Duties

- Read blueprints and schematics, measure work areas, and prepare materials for construction or restoration tasks.
- Build and install framing, siding, drywall, and concrete forms; complete concrete finishing and woodworking as project needs require.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and, where appropriate, heavy equipment; perform heavy lifting and welding tasks safely.
- Inspect completed work, address defects, and coordinate with colleagues to keep work accurate and projects moving. Your impact: dependable craftsmanship helps teams deliver sound,

Experience

Required: Practical carpentry skills, safe use of hand and power tools, ability to read blueprints or schematics, and capacity to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting. Preferred: Construction experience and familiarity with concrete forming and finishing, drywall, siding, restoration, woodworking, welding, and heavy equipment operation. These capabilities support adaptable work across different project tasks.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 60.0 per week
