- Manage complex balance sheet and bank reconciliations, investigating unusual or aged items, analyzing account activity, resolving discrepancies and preparing clear supporting commentary and evidence for all material balances.
- Oversee corporate accounting and reporting for the North American business,

ensuring the consistent application of Group accounting policies and the accurate, timely delivery of financial information across the region.
- Prepare monthly management and Group reporting, including internal financial reports, Oracle submissions, financial statement note support, CAPEX reporting and quarterly deliverables. Coordinate inputs and review supporting schedules to ensure reporting is complete, accurate and consistent.
- Perform detailed financial and operational variance analysis, identifying trends, investigating significant movements and communicating clear insights to support management review, planning and decision-making.
- Support fixed asset and lease accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, reconciliations and related reporting, in accordance with applicable accounting standards and Group policies.
- Manage complex accounting matters across Middle Office and Back Office functions, including reconciliations, transaction review and process standardization, to strengthen the accuracy and consistency of financial information.
- Partner with Operations and Commercial teams to provide risk, cost and performance analysis, translating financial data into practical insights that support efficiency, profitability and informed business decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes by identifying and implementing changes that improve efficiency, strengthen internal controls, enhance data quality and promote consistent, standardized ways of working.
- Support the Corporate Reporting Team in maintaining and implementing the Internal Controls Framework, helping ensure accounting policies, procedures and controls are applied consistently across divisions.
- Provide support on technical accounting matters, assessing relevant issues with the Corporate Reporting Team and helping ensure agreed accounting treatments are clearly documented and consistently applied across North America.
- Support internal and external audits and compliance activities by preparing documentation, responding to information requests, coordinating with stakeholders and helping resolve audit findings in a timely manner.
