NOW HIRING – Shop Assistant

Position Summary:

Galbraith Florists is looking to hire a full time Shop Assistant/ Florist Assistant. This individual will be responsible for facilitating operations within the shop, assisting with inventory control, and offering support to floral designers in preparing arrangements, restocking supplies, processing flowers, cleaning and organizing shop displays.

To be successful as a Shop Assistant, this individual must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

Summary of Responsibilities:

- Customer service and point of sale.
- Taking orders via phone, email, and in-person.
- Schedule consultations for the Florist.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Increase team productivity by assisting Florist.
- Participate in the coordination of events.
- Ensure front store is always presentable.
- Organize daily deliveries to facilitate accurate and on time delivery.




- Assist with inventory control.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.
- Thrive in a busy work setting and demonstrate initiative in meeting project goals.
- Ability to learn new tasks.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management.

Requirements:

· Customer service experience required.

Fluent English

· Experience in the floral industry considered an asset.

· Clean driving record.

· Positive attitude.

· Highly motivated and able to work independently and with a team.

· Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
