Job Overview

As a Thai Kitchen Cook/Kitchen Hand, you’ll support smooth, clean, and welcoming daily food preparation, cooking, serving, and kitchen cleaning through set periods of each day. You’ll follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Proprietary SISAKET recipes. You'll maintain safe food handling practices throughout the day and provide friendly customer service in a busy hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

- Prepare salad, vegetable, egg, meat ingredients, cook dishes in woks, grills, and deep fryer, and assist with serving food promptly and accurately according to time & customer requests printed on order printers.
- Follow food safety practices, handle hot food carefully, and clean along the way, maintain daily inventory checks, daily prep diary, sign off on kitchen and service areas clean and organization according to monthly routine schedules.
- Use POS systems to process orders and payments, assist with cashiering and cash handling, and communicate in friendly manner and clearly thai food options with kitchen and front of house colleagues.
- Your impact: Reliable, attention to detail, team work, works well on your own, and ensure smooth open to close preparation and service. Help guests enjoy their meals and enable colleagues to keep service running smoothly.

Experience





Desired 1-3 years Practical kitchen food preparation experience in busy environment, cooking, cleaning, food handling, communication, and customer service skills. Education in Thai/Asian or other cooking food styles desired but hands on very recent experience will be considered strongly. Support safe, efficient kitchen and guest service duties.

Preferred: Food service, kitchen, restaurant, or hotel experience, including serving, meal preparation, cashiering, cash handling, POS or Micros POS use, barista work, guest services, hospitality, and food safety knowledge in a rapid paced environment. Ability to carry 20-30 kgs occasionally, wear approrpriate kitchen gear, non slip shoes, black pants, shirt, hairnet, well groomed. May be standing for 5-8 hour periods of the day.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
