Resilience Mobile Health and Chronic Illness Support Inc. is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join their multidisciplinary team. This is a recent private mobile health and wellness clinic that aims to provide a high standard of customized care to patients in their homes, offices or hotels. We will be launching in early 2027, providing care to Calgary and Rocky View County.

Job Description

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced, well-rounded Registered Massage Therapist to offer mobile massage care to a wide array of clients. You will provide therapeutic, evidence-based massage care for chronic pain management, injuries and relaxation, all in the comfort of the client’s own space. Each massage session will follow an intake that will allow the client to have treatment tailored to their medical needs.

Job Requirements

-Successful completion of a massage therapy program of not less than 2200 hours

- Must be a member in good standing with one of the following:
The Massage Therapist Association of Alberta, the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada, the Certified Registered Massage Therapist Association, the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association, the Alberta Association of Therapeutic Masseurs, or the Alberta Regional Massage Therapy Association

- Current Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification (in-person courses only) is compulsory

- Must have professional liability insurance with coverage for Massage Therapy with limits no less than two million dollars per claim

- Your own vehicle with current driver's license and auto insurance is required, and being comfortable commuting to and from client locations is essential





- Must use the provided electronic medical records (EMR) platform for patient charting in order to adhere to all privacy standards

- Use of your own laptop or tablet to conduct all EMR functions is required

- Must launder all linens and coverings, disinfect and maintain portable massage table and all other items provided by the company

- It is of paramount importance to uphold high standards of cleanliness, disinfecting and sanitization procedures and wear PPE when appropriate

- Must possess an up-to-date police information check and vulnerable sector check through the Calgary Police Service

- In order to be able to practice in the city of Calgary, a current and active massage practitioner license is required at the expense and maintenance of the RMT

- Experience with providing a variety of massage types (therapeutic, relaxation, deep tissue, etc.) is key

- A certification in cupping therapy is an asset

- It is your responsibility to provide proof of your WCB Alberta account, or a clearance letter, when applicable

This role will be the perfect fit for you if you are looking for a part-time commitment that can grow as the mobile clinic grows. You will be an independent contractor, so we can be flexible with scheduling. The company will provide your equipment and supplies, handle all billing, payments, patient communications and scheduling.
