Our aerospace & defense client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (5–10+ years) to design and deliver embedded firmware using C++ on Linux Join a defense communications program supporting domestic and international land forces.

This contract role designs, implements, integrates, and tests embedded firmware and software on Linux target hardware using C++ with Python-based automation across a large, long-lived codebase.

Work spans networking features, including socket programming with TCP/IP and UDP, within a multi-team SAFe workplace.

The team is seeking a senior engineer who can contribute to design and help mentor junior developers.
