CGI Montréal is looking for a Business Analyst to analyze and improve commercial banking processes, particularly in the areas of lending, credit origination, and cash management. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging stakeholders, identifying improvement opportunities, and helping plan their implementation. Your future duties and responsibilities

- Analyze end-to-end processes related to commercial lending, credit origination, and cash management
- Prepare and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, and business needs
- Map processes, roles, business rules, and controls, then identify opportunities for simplification, automation, or customer experience improvement
- Develop and assess improvement opportunities in collaboration with relevant teams
- Facilitate the prioritization of initiatives based on value, feasibility, risks, and dependencies, and contribute to their integration into a roadmap
- Define target-state processes and assess the impacts of changes on teams, systems, and controls
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and collaborate with technology teams on their implementation
- Participate in testing, change deployment, and results monitoring

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

- University degree or certification in Business Analysis, Process Management, Continuous Improvement, or a related field




- Experience in process analysis or process optimization within the banking or financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of commercial banking, particularly in lending, credit origination, or cash management
- Experience facilitating workshops, process mapping, requirements gathering, and requirements documentation
- Ability to engage stakeholders, structure recommendations, and support the prioritization of initiatives
- Excellent analytical, communication, and synthesis skills
- Experience in digital transformation, continuous improvement, or process modeling will be considered an asset
- Excellent communication skills in French (spoken and written) and functional proficiency in English

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 60 000$ et 110 000$. This role is an existing vacancy.
