Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual for a Drafting & Project Management position to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience—from initial inquiry through order fulfillment—while coordinating communication between sales, production, and logistics teams with a wage scale of $25.20-$33/hour for 40 hours per week.

This posting is for an existing position that we are currently seeking to fill with opportunities for growth and role expansion based on experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries (phone, email, and walk-in customers), directing requests appropriately
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, shop tickets, and construction drawing packages.
- Create and maintain drafting templates, contracts and tender documents as required.
- Visit project sites to obtain and verify dimensions for accurate drawing development.
- Coordinate and manage assigned projects from drafting through completion.
- Ensure all customer requirements and specifications are incorporated into drawings and project documentation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to optimize sales.
- Manage customer accounts and provide product guidance related to stone materials
- Coordinate timelines and communicate updates with customers and internal teams
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, ensuring all changes are communicated internally and externally
- Provide cross-functional support during absences or peak periods
- Potential future responsibilities may include site visits and product promotion

Candidates with drafting experience may have the opportunity to expand the role to include drafting responsibilities,



with compensation adjusted accordingly.

Required Skills

- Strong computer skills, including AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. Experience with Mastercam is considered an asset.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with robust attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to manage conflict and troubleshoot issues to identify practical and viable solutions when projects encounter obstacles.

Education & Experience

- Completion of architectural drafting diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, drafting design, logistics, or shipping (preferred)
- Technical knowledge of architectural, construction, and landscaping principles. Experience with brick, concrete, and stone production is considered an asset.
- Proven mathematical and costing skills, with experience quoting and closing large sales projects.

Working Conditions

- Office-based role with extended periods of sitting
- High-volume environment requiring coordination across multiple teams
- Standard workweek: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
