IRCO is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our automation team. This is a hands-on position wiring, installing, troubleshooting, and commissioning custom industrial automation equipment and robotic systems.

Job Description

- Wire and electrically assemble custom automation equipment and machinery
- Read and work from electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
- Install and terminate sensors, motors, VFDs, servo systems, safety devices, I/O, and other automation components
- Build and modify industrial control panels and machine electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and controls-related issues during machine startup
- Perform electrical testing and verification prior to equipment shipment
- Support equipment installation, startup, and commissioning at customer facilities
- Work closely with electrical design, controls, mechanical, and project teams

Experience & Qualifications

- 3+ years of industrial electrical, machine wiring, or automation experience preferred




- Ontario 309A or 442A Industrial Electrician license; apprentices with strong automation experience may also be considered
- Solid ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Experience with industrial control panels, PLC I/O, VFDs, motors, sensors, safety circuits, and industrial networks is an asset
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with robotic automation systems is an asset
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a machine-build team
- Willingness to travel to customer sites when required

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
