The Foot Care Nurse (RN/LPN) – Independent Subcontractor provides attentive foot care nursing to clients in community and care settings. The role centers on patient care, clear communication, and respectful support tailored to each person’s needs.

Duties

- Assess clients’ foot-care needs, discuss concerns, and provide appropriate nursing care within the scope of the role.
- Review relevant health information, document care accurately, and communicate observations to the appropriate care team.
- Support comfort and safety, explain care steps, and adapt interactions for clients with dementia or other individual needs.
- Coordinate care with clients, families, and facility staff to support continuity and timely follow-up.

Qualifications

Required: Practical nursing and patient-care capabilities, transparent communication, accurate documentation, and sound judgment when supporting clients’ comfort and safety. Preferred: Experience in nursing homes, hospitals, acute care, dementia care, pediatrics, home care, medical offices, assisted living, senior care, hospice, laboratories, phlebotomy, pain management, case management, medication administration, medical terminology, Epic, Cerner, or working with children.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 40.0 per week
