SFT Exteriors & Interiors Inc. is a growing residential construction company seeking an experienced Lead Exterior Installer specializing in custom aluminum bending, window and door capping, fascia, flashing, and exterior cladding.

We're looking for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, solves problems independently, and has the leadership skills to direct a small crew.

This is a senior-level position requiring advanced metal brake skills and the ability to complete projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Custom Aluminum Fabrication & Installation

- Operate a metal brake to measure, cut, bend, and fabricate custom aluminum flashings and trim.
- Fabricate and install window and door capping, garage door surrounds, fascia, rake trim, and architectural details.
- Install custom aluminum cladding around posts, beams, columns, and exterior features.
- Complete soffit, fascia, siding, and exterior finishing work as required.
- Ensure proper flashing, caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing.
- Deliver precise measurements, clean bends, tight corners, and professional finishes.

Project Leadership & Execution

- Review job scopes, assess site conditions, and plan installations.
- Organize materials, equipment, and daily work activities.
- Independently manage assigned projects from start to finish.




- Lead and direct helpers or junior installers when required.
- Identify installation challenges, solve problems, and minimize delays.
- Maintain high standards of safety, productivity, workmanship, and job-site cleanliness.
- Communicate project progress, material requirements, and potential issues to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

- 5+ years of residential exterior installation experience preferred.
- Advanced metal brake operation and custom aluminum fabrication experience required.
- Proven experience with window and door capping, fascia, flashing, and exterior finishing.
- Ability to independently measure, fabricate, and install custom aluminum components.
- Strong understanding of exterior waterproofing and proper installation techniques.
- Ability to complete projects efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to direct a small installation crew.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Own basic installation tools.
- Ability to work safely at heights and maintain required safety certifications.
